The negative aspects are you have to keep bothering maintenance in order to get them to come, and there is no recycling available on premise. I never hear neighbors through the walls, but unfortuantely you can hear a lot of noise come through the windows.

Very welcoming atmoshere! — I was a Travel Nurse for years and lived in the most beautiful apts throughout the country. Although Greenbriar is set in a beautiful enviorment also nothing I have ever dealt with can compare to the Staff anf Maintenance dept! In this do everything for cheaper and quicker world Greenbriar staff is so accountable and does an awesome job of repairing and maintaining its grounds!! The Management dept could not be any sweeter! I could go on and on with awesome stories where they have come to my rescue with minor issues but to me were very major. My son has been begging me to move near him in Delaware but I love Greenbriar apts Staff and maintenance crew will never leave!

As a perk Greenbriar provides the option of online payment and maintenance request. I am a new resident and love the atmosphere and convenience to shopping, dining and entertainment.

submitted by Kim B. - |Recommended: YesHome Sweet Home — My husband and I have lived here for three years now and have no plans to leave any time soon. In addition to all the nice things others have said about the lovely setting, convenient location, and wonderful leasing office staff and maintenance crew, I would add that this is truly a pet-friendly community. They don't just allow pets -- they genuinely love animals. We searched for a very long time to find a clean, well-kept apartment community in Philadelphia that would allow dogs over 35 lbs (we have a 60-lb bulldog) and were delighted to find Greenbriar Club.
Another thing we really enjoy about Greenbriar is the fantastic diversity: We have neighbors from all walks of life, from grad students to families with kids to senior citizens, and they are from all over the globe. In one short dog walk around our community we can hear conversations in Russian, Ukrainian, Mandarin, Korean, Hindi and Spanish as well as many dialects of English. We love it. It's like living in Queens but without NY prices. ;-)

However, when you need maintenance service done, get ready to yell and bug them for days before it gets done.
submitted by Sarah Y. - |Recommended: YesNice Staff and Maintenance, Excellent Rental Rates, a Bit run-down though — It's comfortable, the staff is great and the rent is very affordable. The cons are that the buildings, appliances, and carpet are very old, and the Air conditioner feels like it does not filter the air at all. Have pretty bad allergies and sinuses since living here.

submitted by Alicia K. - |Recommended: YesSorry to be leaving! — Office managers are very accommodating and helpful (bonus points for spoiling my pups when we visit the office). I disagree that the apartments are expensive, I have a one bedroom and utilities are included so I could not be happier with what I am paying. The pool is kept clean, and the maintenance staff are always pleasant when you walk passed even though they are always working hard. There is also a security guard who checks in with cars coming into the community at night, which I appreciate having. I'm sorry to be moving out but am only doing so because of attending school out of state.

submitted by LaTrina B. - |Recommended: YesOutstanding, safe, plesant place to reside, rental office staff is simply SUPERB!!! — this is my first apartment on my own since my divorce and i couldn't have asked for anything better!!! it's always neat, clean, i feel extremely safe as well!! the rental office is always willing to work with you and keeps open communication!! ramon, michelle & the proerty manager are amazing individuals!!! although i will be remarrying and moving in with my fiance' within the next year or two, other than moving in with him, i wouldn't want to live ANYWHERE ELSE!!!
